Why work with me?

Because my own journey is filled with personal experiences that have shaped my empathy and understanding. I deeply respect the courage it takes to seek help – and I believe that humour can gently ease the path and make therapy more approachable.

I’ve overcome a difficult childhood and navigated the ups and downs of corporate life. Many of my clients say they feel truly seen and understood. I focus on who you are and where you are right now – and help you explore new ideas and patterns from there.

I’ll be honest: I used ChatGPT to help shape my website. I like to keep things simple – in life and in therapy. While my university professors may not have appreciated that, my clients love it. Clear language makes therapy more accessible and relatable, so everyone can feel at ease and understood.
And honestly – who needs fancy words when they’re going through a tough time?

Why Kaipali

Therapists as yoga instructors (and any teacher) appreciate the art of repetition. Just as yogis keep coming back to their mats, therapists keep repeating their insights like a catchy mantra. And just like in yoga, clients sometimes need to laugh off the falls and setbacks along the way—it’s all part of the process of finding balance and growth! Often, the yogi or the client’s body and mind may not be ready to listen at first, requiring patience and persistence to achieve breakthroughs.

This is why my webpage is named kaipali, derived from Greek, meaning “and again.”

about me

My diverse life experience – and the meaningful support of my clients – has continually expanded my perspective.
Yoga and meditation have taught my analytical mind to live more in the moment and trust less in the ego.

Even as a child, I knew I wanted to break free from my family’s unhealthy cycles – but circumstances forced me to adapt. At times, it felt like living as an avatar, hiding my true self – a challenge I’ve had to face again and again.

This inner knowing led me to make what some might call unusual choices: I left a prestigious job, moved into an ashram in India, and began studying psychology in Zurich – stepping away from luxury, and toward personal growth.

And for those who value formal qualifications: I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, with specializations in Psychopathology and Neurophysiology, as well as certifications in Existential Analysis, Psychosomatics, and Systemic Solution-Focused Therapy.
