Why Should You Choose Me?

You should choose me because my journey is filled with personal experiences that have shaped my empathy and understanding. I deeply understand the gravity of seeking help, and I also believe humour can ease the journey and make therapy more relatable.

I’ve overcome a difficult childhood with multiple abuse and navigated corporate life with its challenges and rewards. My clients often feel I truly understand them. I focus on who and where you are in life now, helping you unlock new ideas and patterns within you.

I’ll admit itβ€”I used ChatGPT to help create my homepage. I like to keep things simple in life and therapy. While my university professors may not have appreciated it, my clients love it. Simple language makes therapy more accessible and approachable, helping everyone feel comfortable and understood. Plus, who needs fancy words when you are in trouble?

Why Kaipali

Therapists as yoga instructors (and any teacher) appreciate the art of repetition. Just as yogis keep coming back to their mats, therapists keep repeating their insights like a catchy mantra. And just like in yoga, clients sometimes need to laugh off the falls and setbacks along the wayβ€”it’s all part of the process of finding balance and growth! Often, the yogi or the client’s body and mind may not be ready to listen at first, requiring patience and persistence to achieve breakthroughs.

This is why my webpage is named Kaipali, derived from Greek, meaning “and again.”

about me

Currently, I’m enjoying life on the dreamy island of Paros in Greece. Even though I’m no longer young, I wouldn’t want to turn back time for anything. My life experience is rich, and my heart is full of curiosity and enthusiasm. I owe a lot of experience to my clients, who have significantly broadened my horizons through their trust.

Yoga and meditation saved my health by teaching my analytical (and stubborn) mind to live more in the moment and rely less on the ego.

Already as a child, I knew I wanted to break free from my family’s cycle of violence and addiction. However, circumstances forced me to adapt completely. It felt like being an avatar – wearing a mask that hides the true self. This led to numerous psychological challenges I continue to face today.

This inner knowing led me to make decisions that were often seen as crazy by those around me, prompting me to step out of my comfort zone. I left a highly lucrative and prestigious job and embarked on a journey to an ashram in India, seeking to break free from the cycle of a capitalist and ambitious upbringing. I began my psychology studies at the University of Zurich, transitioning from luxury to personal growth. In 2014, I left my rat race in Switzerland and moved to a foreign country.

For those who value formal qualifications: I hold a Master’s in Psychology with focuses on psychopathology and neurophysiology, along with certifications in Daseinsanalysis and systemic solution-oriented therapy.
